This Policy describes the privacy practices that Center follows when we collect information about you when you use our products, services, mobile apps, and websites and how we use, disclose, and protect that information. This Policy also explains your rights and choices regarding your Personal Information. Personal Information is information that can identify a person, such as name, address, telephone number, and email address.

Please note that you must be age 18 or over to use the Center sites and our other digital offerings. We do not solicit or knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If we are made aware that we have received such information, or any information in violation of our policy, we will use reasonable efforts to locate and remove that information from our records.

What Information Does Center Collect About Me and Why?

We collect Personal Information that identifies, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you.

We may collect the following categories of Personal Information:

  • Identifiers. Such as name, date of birth, place of birth, postal address, phone number, unique personal identifier, Internet Protocol (IP) address, email address, account name, unique identifier of device, national identification number, Social Security Number, passport numbers, driver’s license or similar identification card numbers.
  • Protected Characteristics. Such as age, national origin, citizenship, sex/gender, veteran or military status.
  • Your opinions or other information. For example, if you review the services you have purchased from us or provide information about services, and the brands and services you use.
  • Financial information. Such as your bank account numbers, transaction history, payment card number, CVV, billing address, and related financial information.
  • Geolocation Data. Such as physical location based on any travel plans you book on our platform. We collect your Internet Protocol (IP) address and information related to that IP address (such as domain information, your internet provider and general geographic location); and the location of your mobile device (for example, when you use mobile websites or apps to register to receive location-based content).
  • Inferences: Inferences drawn from some of the information identified above, including about your preferences.
  • Internet or other similar network activity.As described in more detail in our Cookie Policy, if you use our services, we automatically collect information about your browsing and search history, interaction with the features of our services, and responses to advertisements.
  • Professional or employment-related information. Such as current or past job history.

How Does Center Use My Personal Information?

We may use the Personal Information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with the services that you have requested – To administer our relationship with you and to carry out our obligations arising from the relationship between you and Center, including internal accounting and administrative purposes; verify Personal Information; process applications for purchases or services; to process applications for the extension of credit; to book travel; to manage your corporate expenses; to process payment for purchases or services; and to create and manage your account.
  • To provide you with marketing communications – To provide you with information about products and services that may be of interest to you.
  • For servicing communications – To communicate with you about important information related to the product or service you have requested or other non-marketing communications. This includes: (i) to process and respond to your questions and/or inquiries; (ii) to verify your identity; (iv) to notify you that a particular service has been suspended for maintenance or terminated; (v) to notify you know that we have updated this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use; (vi) to notify you know about any services that you have requested or purchased
    • Note: We will never contact you to ask for your password or credit card information; please be careful if you receive any communications requesting this information.
  • For site optimization and management – For example we may use Personal Information to:
    • administer the website,
    • ensure the security of our networks and of your information,
    • customize your future visits to the website based on your interests to ensure the most user-friendly online navigation experience,
    • improve the website and our other digital offerings (including to fix operational problems such as pages crashing and software bugs), and
    • provide services to our partners such as tools, analysis, data and insights to see how their website or mobile applications are used.
  • For product and business development and improvement purposes – To verify the quality and effectiveness of services and develop new services.
  • For targeted advertising – We, or with third party vendors, may use your Personal Information to provide you with advertising tailored to your interests on third party sites, including social media sites like Facebook or Instagram.   • For push notifications – When you sign up to receive push notifications from us through our mobile app, we may send you information regarding your purchases, including purchase confirmations.
  • For identity verification and fraud prevention and detection purposes – To protect and defend the rights and property of Center, our employees, and business partners, or when you request information, or if you have lost or forgotten your credentials or your card.
  • For employment application purposes – For example, if you contact us in relation to employment opportunities, we will use the Personal Information you provide to process your application.
  • For analytics – We may use anonymized and/or aggregated information, in any manner that does not identify individual users for the purpose of improving the operation and management of the services, including to develop new features, functionality, services, to conduct internal research, to better understand usage patterns, to troubleshoot, to fulfill user requests, or for security and compliance purposes.

How Does Center Share Personal Information?

We may share Personal Information about you:

  • With third parties – We may share Personal Information with third parties for business purposes related to delivering your services. When we disclose Personal Information to a third party, we execute a contract with the third party that describes the purpose of the use of Personal Information and requires the third party to keep the Personal Information confidential and not use it for any purpose except for fulfilling the purpose for which it was shared. We do not sell Personal or Sensitive Personal Information to third parties.
  • Examples of third parties:
    • advertising providers – including companies that provide: (i) advertising space for Center; (ii) the provision of advertising related services, including agencies instructed to make advertising purchases on our behalf, providers of ad-exchanges (a digital marketplace to buy and sell advertising space) and providers of a demand-side platform (software used to purchase advertising in an automated fashion),
    • providers of marketing and customer relationship management databases and data management platforms – that enable Center to manage your information in a safe and efficient manner,
    • data analysis firms – that provide insights and help us to analyze trends using the data that we and they hold,
    • customer support specialists – that provide customer support services on our behalf for Center services,
    • web-hosting companies – to enable us to manage and improve the website,
    • providers of information technology and infrastructure, business administration, and human resource services,
    • email delivery providers, and
    • audit and professional service providers.
  • With your employer – As part of Center’s services, our customers (which may be your employer) can see and manage corporate expenses made by their employees. This includes your employer’s finance administrators, who see all the charges and payments made by you on corporate cards or as otherwise submitted by you through our services.
  • With our subsidiaries or affiliates – We may make Personal Information available to Center affiliated companies, including the American Express Family of Companies, to allow us to provide our services to you for the purposes described in this Policy, or for the purposes we disclose to you when we collect Personal Information about you.
  • To comply with laws – Center may disclose Personal Information to any competent law enforcement body, regulatory body, government agency, and public authorities who regulate our activities, fraud and crime prevention agencies, court or other third party where we believe disclosure is necessary (i) as a matter of applicable law or regulation, (ii) to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights, or (iii) to protect your vital interests or those of any other person.

How Long Does Center Retain Personal Information?

We retain Personal Information in an identifiable form only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the Personal Information was collected, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements.

What If I Access a Third Party Site Through The Center Website?

The Center website may contain links to or from third party sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third parties. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Personal Information we collect. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of third party sites you access from links on the Center website.

How Does Center Secure Personal Information?

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including physical, administrative and technical safeguards to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure. However, please be aware that no electronic transmission of information can be entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee that the security measures that we have in place to safeguard Personal Information will never be defeated or fail.

Does This Policy Ever Change?

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, technical or business developments.  The date of the most recent version of this Privacy Policy will appear at the top of the page.

When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. For example, we may notify you of changes by updating the “last modified” date at the top of this page or by sending the new Privacy Policy to you via email, where appropriate.
